The National Energy Efficiency Technology Roadmapping Summit was held in Portland, OR, in late September, and included a wide range of interesting sessions for energy geeks, including a number on lighting, controls, and daylighting, a whole panel on residential retrofits, and another panel on zero net energy homes (ZNEH). One of the ZNEH speakers was perennial favorite Danny Parker, a senior researcher at the Florida Solar Energy Center who has been working on the ZHEH challenge for a long time, and tries out all his ideas at home! Presentations are available in both video and slide format at http://online.etm.pdx.edu/bpa_summit/mon.html.
